SANVILLE SCHOLARSHIPS AND PRIZES
Contribute to our existing scholarship funds via cash or credit card, or through any of the methods listed below. You may want to consider making a donation or establishing a scholarship fund in honor or in memory of someone who was an important influence in your life.

Barbara B. Baer Scholarship
Established in 1996 by a grant from the Barbara B. Baer Trust to honor Dr. Baer, a dedicated clinical social worker and early friend of the Institute, this $1500 annual scholarship is awarded in increments of $500 each trimester to help defray the cost of tuition for a deserving student.

Verneice D. Thompson Prize
Funded by donations to honor the contributions of Dr. Thompson, our highly respected second Dean of the Institute, this $500 prize is awarded to a student for a paper that explores a social problem or clinical phenomenon from a social perspective.

Arturo Ricardo di Cordova Sanville Scholarship
Our newest fund has been seeded with generous contributions from Dr. Sanville and Chester Villalba to help support Hispanic students who are interested in our clinical social work program. It was established to honor the memory of Arturo Ricardo di Cordova Sanville, the husband of our first Dean, Dr. Jean Sanville, for his work in the field of public health.

MATCHING-GIFT PROGRAMS AT WORK
